Function Description:
The Area Measurement command is used to measure the area of closed region, the closed region could be composed by straight lines or arcs.
By default the selected two points are connected by straight lines.
When you want to connect two points by an arc, you could click on “Arc” key word and select the correct arc.
Operations:
Step 1: click the “Measure” button and select the “Area” tool. There is a new checkbox on the measurement panel, it is used to display the status of measurement result. If checked ,it means to keep measurement result on the drawing; otherwise the result disappears.
Step 2: specify the start point by clicking or dragging.
Step 3: specify next point. Now you could click “+” button to cancel the last two
specified points and start a new Area command. If you click “+” button, it goes back to step 2.
Step 4: specify next point. After specified three points, it automatically displays a closed
region, and its area and perimeter displays in value box.
Step 5: specify next point. The operation is the same as step 4.
Click “ √ ”to keep the area result on the drawing and end the command.
Click “× ” to give up the current measurement result and end the command.
Tips:
(1) it supports to display area results in meters (m) in settings.
(2) long press in the value box and choose “Copy” option to copy measurement result.
